Worker’s account statement

Once a year, we send you an account statement summarising your paid leave entitlements from the previous year (January to December).

You also get an account statement if

your employer reports leave to us and is reimbursed for it,
you receive money from us (as pay in lieu of leave or compensation) or
you have not been posted to Germany for more than three months.

This account statement contains important details about your work in Germany over the past two years, e.g.

duration of employment
employment days
gross wage
paid leave days and remuneration for paid annual leave

Your employer reported that information to us.

Did you notice a mistake in your account statement? If so, please contact your employer and let us know. You can ask your employer to correct the information within two months of receiving your account statement.
