You can do this by sending us the following documents from your company headquarters abroad:
- contracts for work and contract specifications
- entry in the Commercial Register
- business licence/registration
- trade registration
Have you also registered your business in the German commercial register or trade register? If so, please send us these documents as well.
Once we have checked your documents, you will receive an employer ID-number from us. Additionally, we will send you our initial letter with further information on the paid leave scheme.
Letter of assurance from the Federal Employment Agency „Bundesagentur für Arbeit“
Are you based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia or Turkey? If so, you need a letter of assurance and work permits for your workers. Otherwise, they are not allowed to work in Germany. You can get more information from the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit).
You only get a letter of assurance if you properly participate in the leave scheme. The Federal Employment Agency asks us about this on a regular basis.
